Fishing in Maine is a wonderful experience, but with countless rivers streams and ponds, where do you begin..Moosehead Fishing Adventures. Hiring a guide is essential to Maximizing your experience.Wheather it's your first time fishing or a seasoned angler, knowing the best places to fish and the right tackle to use can save you hours.. even days. This is where I come in. I have tailored a number of trips below to appeal to every angler, and the best part is...its up to you!
The East Outlet of the Kennebec River is a 3 1/2 mile stretch of undeveloped wilderness swarming with landlocked salmon and native Maine Brook Trout. Driftboat trips are the easiest and most efficient way to learn the river. Join me on a 2011 Hyde Contender driftboat and fish the East Outlet in style. Floating the river is a comfortable and stable way to fish and cover large amounts of the river. A boat lets us access and fish more water than the wading fisherman. On full day trips lunch is provided and on all trip all tackle and fishing gear is complimentary. To learn more click here!
The Moosehead area has three classic tailwaters to choose from in the quest for landlocked salmon and wild brook trout. The Moose, The Roach, and The Kennebec. Each with a distinct personality and style, all within a half hour of Greenville!
A guided trip on the river is a great way to learn new water, find the hottest holes, and most importantly..catch fish! Both full day and half day trips are available, either way all trips include transportation, tackle, and food. To learn more click here!
Nothing epitomizes the Maine fishing experience like a pond. A quiet morning, glassy water, the call of a loon, the perfect recipe for a day chasing wild Maine Brook Trout. Many ponds are a short drive from Greenville, and others are a bit off the beaten path. We have canoes located at many of these ponds, and the Moose outnumber people. Primetime on ponds is from just after ice out through June so book early. A full day includes all transportation, flies and tackle and lunch!....Click here for details!

Fun Facts: Maine is one of the only places in the US home to self sustaining 'native' brook trout
Spend a day wading one of Maine's "classic" rivers. Mayflies, Caddisflies, and Stoneflies are the holy trinity here. The river season begins strong in May with the annual smelt runs and wraps up in September with the landlocked and brookie spawns.
Fun Facts: Landlocked Salmon move upstream to spawn, just like their cousin, the Atlantic Salmon.

If you haven't quite found what your looking for above, don't worry. Tell me what you would like to do and we can go from there. Maybe a lazy paddle down a quiet river is what your looking for, or a Moose Safari, perhaps even fly fishing lessons. The possibilities are endless. Let us customize a trip that really suits your needs!!
